Tiffany Houser began her DJ journey in New York City back in 2003, while working in the New York and Hamptons nightlife industry. During that time, she fell in love with the art of making music happen from the booth and decided to use each night to educate herself on spinning.

Even though Tiffany's love for house music prevails, she loves playing sets that mix together house, hip-hop, rock & roll and everything in between. "I am just as much a party-goer as I am a DJ, and it's odd when I hear people say, 'I can't stand house music, or I don’t want to hear hip-hop,' and refuse to go to certain parties because of the type of music or stigma that goes with the music genre. If it's good music, it shouldn't matter what genre it is."

As one of the producers of M.O.V.E remix, I had to be one of the artists for our pilot series. I hung up my headphones a while ago to focus on my business ventures, but as we were creating MOVE, it was clear that spinning was another hat I needed to wear, especially as the songs were being chosen based on what we believe the MOVE experience is all about - sharing something that is bigger than us that puts a smile on faces as we Move in Music towards a healthier & happier lifestyle.

Ess & Emm, DJ Duo - 80's / NuDisco / New Wave

Playlist: Coming soon...

With the same penchant for curiosity as Adam and Eve, playful spirit as Barbie and Ken, appetite for mischief as Batman and Robin, and fi nally sense of rebellion as Bonnie and Clyde, Ess & Emm are the newest dynamic duo to tease, entice and look good doing it. Originally, hailing from both coasts of Canada, 12 years ago, these once former snowbirds fl ew south for the winter and now as flamingos, they have never looked back. While carving out their own niches in the Miami scene, fate would have them meet. Though, it wasn’t until a friend introduced the pair at an art gallery exhibition, that Emm remarked on Ess’ evident ability to accessorize, upon which Ess excitingly proclaimed how impressed she was with Emm’s likewise abilities. Alas, this musical union came to pass by the mutual, yet humble adoration for bows, shoes and everything nice. Though for the throngs of stylish party revelers hip to the Ess & Emm tune everything nice, comes from a couple of Canadian gals fi lling the room with sounds of new wave to nu disco.

Eager to be inspired by all ranges of art, design and fashion, these partners in crime, flair and reputation gain inspiration from a variety of sounds from electro to indie, to italo disco. You’ll find this pair of misfi ts at underground hotspots like The Vagabond, Cafeina and Bardot in Miami’s Wynwood district, or featuring their parlor tricks, keen fashion sense and unapologetic attitudes at hot ticket fashion and design events such as Gen Art. Wherever they are, their sound is stylish and the scene is contagious.
